Originally built in 1689AD, the structure was originally an ancient water mill that was used for grinding grain and pressing olives. Today it has been restored as a farmhouse, beautifully renovated by the current owners, who have maintained the original Tuscan style and materials of the time while adding modern comforts.
A private cypress-lined road provides access to the house, where there is a veranda of about 60sqm and a separate annex with an old wood-burning oven, a kitchenette and a small bathroom.
The building is developed on two levels, and the owners have divided it into three independent apartments that could be connected to each other if desired.
The ground floor is composed primarily of the large living room of the main apartment, complete with a fireplace. An internal staircase provides access to the first floor, where there is a large kitchen made by hand with antique marble, and where an external staircase provides access to the garden. The first floor also includes a dining area with a fireplace, two double bedrooms, one of these with private bathroom, a second independent bathroom and a loft area with parquet floor. In the basement there are three ancient cellars.
On the other side of the building, on the ground floor, there are the entrances to the other two apartments:

– a two-room apartment composed of a living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom.
The house is finished in classic Tuscan style, including floors in rustic Tuscan marble, wood-framed windows, vaulted ceilings in some rooms and exposed beams and rafters in other rooms. While the property maintains a classic Tuscan look, it also offers a range of modern comforts, including radiant underfloor heating, air conditioning, armored doors, and a security system with cameras.
The farmhouse is located in the picturesque Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a landscaped park of 15000 sqm protected by fencing and dotted with old millstones that evoke an atmosphere from the past. It is possible to land a helicopter on the property, and there are tennis and soccer fields, both with night lighting. Inside the park there is an infinity pool with travertine marble flooring, including hydromassage and a night lighting system. There are three wells, of which one is historical and another artisan, and the grounds are equipped with an automatic irrigation system.
The property is ideally suited to be a holiday home.
In about 20 minutes you can arrive at the beaches of the beautiful Costa Degli Etruschi, while Pisa and its important airport (the first in Tuscany) are only 15 minutes away by car. Volterra and San Gimignano are about 65 minutes drive, while Florence is 45 minutes and Siena can be reached in about 90 minutes.
